sultancy Services flooded

the metropolis with 10 of

thousands of its logo on

Sunday as the sponsor of

New York City Marathon,

the world’s premier long-

distance running event.

Starting this year TCS is

the title sponsor of the mara-

thon, which is now officially

called TCS New York City

Marathon.

Over 50,000 runners ran

the 22.6-mile (36.16-km)

course through the city’s

five boroughs while hun-

dreds of thousands lined the

route to cheer them on and

millions watched the event

on TV. Besides signs and

postings, TCS got its logo

onto the bibs of the runners,

attempting to create sub-

Mumbai.

As with most marathon

events, African runners

dominated the show. Ken-

ya’s Wilson Kipsang won the

men’s marathon with a time

of 2 hours, 10 minutes, 55

seconds.

36.5 per cent equity stake in

startup ScoopWhoop.

Though the company

did not disclose value of

the deal but industry

sources said it is worth Rs 10

day rolled out a limited period promotional fares

scheme, offering up to 25 per cent discount to its cus-

tomers including in India to destinations across Eu-

rope, Africa, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and the

Americas. The week-long offer comes into effect from

today and will continue till November 10 with a travel

period window of six months, Qatar Airways said in

a release. The discount of up to 25 per cent is being of-

fered for return travel on Qatar Airways in all classes

ing offer provides our passengers travelling on leisure

or business trips, an opportunity to visit more than

140 destinations worldwide on our rapidly expanding

global network. We look forward to seeing them take

8. The firm should also indicate necessary discount they can offer to the educational / research institutions.

9. The bidder should also quote the cost of sales service.

10. The supplier/ manufacturer should also ensure that the Tools and Equipments are assemble / commissioned at side.

11. Warranty: The warranty will be for a period of 12 months from the date of successful supply and handling over of the Tools and Equipments and any defects occurring within

warranty period shall be repaired / replaced at free of cost.

12. Diposal of defective stores: In the event, if any store is given back to the manufacturer /supplier for rectification of defects, the supplier will ensure that the defects are attended

immediately without loss of time at their own cost.

13. Price quoted & accepted will be firm & final inclusive of all charges.

14. Delivery should be made within Eight weeks from the date of issue of supply order.

15. Place of delivery: ITI Store at Dollygunj, Port Blair.

16. Payment:100 % of the cost of Tools and Equipments on receipt of installation and satisfaction acceptance of item in full and good working condition at site.

17. Transit Insurance: The purchaser will pay for the transit insurance and the supplier will be responsible till the entire items to arrive in good condition at the destination. The

consignee will as soon as possible, but no later than 45 days of the date of arrival of store at destination notify the contractor of any loss/damage to the store which may have

occurred during transit.

18. The sealed tender superscripted with Tender No.& due date, the address of the bank, IFRS Code no and Pan Card details should be placed in the tender box kept In the office

of Labour Commissioner & Director of Employment and Training, Supply Lane for this purpose latest by 02.00 pm on 01/12/2014 filled in tender will be accepted up to 02.30 pm

on 01/12/2014 and shall be opened on the same day at 03.00 pm in the presence of tenderers if any present.

19. The Labour Commissioner & Director of Employment and Training reserves all rights to accept or reject full or part of time the tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
