How to use your Radiator
Caution: This product is intended for heating rooms. Do not use this appliance for any other purpose. For
indoor, domestic use only.
Assembly:
Fit the wheels before using the appliance. Never use the appliance without the wheels fitted.
Fit a wheel into a wheel support (6) making sure to align the flat portions of each item. Fit a washer over the
threaded portion of the wheel, then fit the nut & tighten it. Repeat for the other wheel then repeat the
process to assemble the other wheel support.
Place the heater on the floor upside down. It is quite normal to hear the oil moving inside the radiator.
Holding the bent end, insert the wheel clamp (7) between the last 2 heating fins. Place one assembled
wheel support over this, & fit the bent end of the clamp through the hole in the support.
Slide the wheel support towards the bend in the wheel clamp, rotating the clamp as it moves until the free
end can be fitted through the other hole.
Tighten the wing nut onto the free end of the clamp.
Repeat this assembly process for the other wheel assembly.
Note: When fully assembled, the 2 sets of wheels should be facing away from each other (wheels out). Put
the heater into its normal upright position. Wait for at least three minutes before operating the appliance.
Heater Operation:
Fully unwind the cord & place the unit on a flat, even floor away from any obstructions and pointing towards
the area of the room to be heated.
As a safety mechanism, the oil radiator will not function if the unit is not on a level surface.
Connect the heater to an electrical supply, leaving sufficient space around it for ventilation.
Rotate the thermostat dial (1) to maximum and rotate the heat setting dial as required, 1 low heat, 2
medium heat, 3 high heat.
Once the room is at a comfortable temperature, the thermostat dial (1) should be slowly turned in the
opposite direction until the appliance just stops working.
The temperature will be maintained at the present level by the thermostat inside the unit.
When it is no longer necessary to heat the room, return the heating buttons to the off (0) position to turn the
unit off and unplug it from the mains supply.
Note: This appliance must be attended in use.
Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover this appliance.
