ADDENDUM II

PURCHASE OF CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

FOR RENOVATION OF OZUNA BUILDING PHASE II

FOR ALAMO COLLEGES – PALO ALTO COLLEGE

CSP No. 14C-031

I. See attached Addendum No. 2, issued by O’Connell Robertson (47 pages – 8 ½ x 11

Specifications & 20 pages – 30 x 42 Drawings)

II. In response to questions received:

1. Question: When is the anticipated construction start date for this project?

Answer: Anticipated start date for this project is January, 2015.

2. Question: Is it acceptable for contractors to provide paper copies of the proposal at

deadline and the electronic copy by 4pm on the same day?

Answer: In this instance, it is acceptable to submit an electronic copy of proposal by

4pm on the same day.

3. Question: Is it acceptable for contractors to provide the SMWBE plan by 4pm of

proposal deadline date after proposal and pricing is turned in at 2pm?

Answer: In accordance with Instructions to Offerors, the SMWBE plan is part of the

proposal documents and is required to be submitted prior to proposal deadline.

4. Question: Are there any required subcontractors from phase 1 which need to be

utilized for phase 2?

Answer: The required subcontractors from phase 1 are: JPM for the cable pulls,

Simplex Grinnell for the fire alarm and Schneider Electric for the building

automation systems. Alamo Colleges will contract directly with these vendors and

awarded contractor will only need to coordinate work schedules.

III. Please note, the deadline for submitting this proposal has been extended to September

, 2014, at 2pm local time.

IV. Please acknowledge receipt of this Addendum II with your response.
